Once your scan is scheduled:

• Have the patient dropped off by 8 am the morning of the scan/procedure (food withheld for 8-12 hours, and a full bladder for abdominal ultrasound)

• Please shave the area of the scan ahead of time if possible (Abdominal ultrasound: similar to a spay with wider margins. Echocardiogram: shave ventral thorax from 1st rib to subxiphoid and laterally up to the level of the axillae.)

• Dr. Milligan will call or text the practice in the morning with a window of arrival time.

• Specialist reports will be emailed to the provided email with interpretation, diagnostic, and treatment recommendations within 24 hours.
